Visitors

• Browsing posters:
  
  • You can walkthrough the posters by clicking on the grey arrow on the topright. Or click next on the pagination under the posters.
  • Click on the top poster and it will open in a big screen.
  • If you see a poster under another you can move it forward by clicking once. Click again and you'll see it big.
  
   
  
• Place a reaction on a poster:
  Register yourself (free) and log in. Look for the poster on which to react and fill in the form below.
   
  
• Search posters:
  Fill in the field 'Search' and click the button search, on the right.
  You'll get a subset of all posters by selecting place / category.
  
   
  
• RSS feed
  RSS feeds are in place for the whole site, and seperate for all places.

Sticking posters

• To stick or remove a poster:
  
  1. First time: register (for free) become a member. Next time you can log in with the same username / password.
  2. Make or find a poster on your computer, for instance in photoshop. Size (optimally) 700 pixels by 500 pixels. Save as a jpg-file with the extension .jpg
     Another scale is possible too, like portrait.
     The system will resize posters if they are too big. Sometimes it's better to resize yourself in photoshop, to keep the crispyness.
     Attention: your poster must be a (photo) piture (jpg). 'Word' or txt-documents won't be accepted.
  3. Click in the menu: "add poster"
  4. Follow the suggested steps. Please do fill in the description field. It helps the searchengine to find your posters.
  5. In your profile you can edit and remove posters. To get there log in and click your name in the menu.
     
• Stick last, be seen first.
  Our democratic way, to let the last poster be seen first.
  So do come back and stick your poster again.

 

Problems

• Registration, activation email doesn't arrive:
  The activation email sometimes will be filtered as spam or junkmail. So please check your spam or junk folder. Some providers make it spam before you can say no-spam. In that case try another account.
  It might take a while before the activation mail arrives. We tested it, and we didn't find any problems. But some users do have this problem.
   
  
• Bad posters
  If you see a 'bad poster'. All you can think of may be placed, unless it's not decent or if it's disrespectfull. If you see a poster which should be removed, you can contact us at info@poster-pillar.com. Please state which poster, by name, place, category and number (and why). We do think that a lot should be possible so we might not act.
